Utility price in Egypt

If you’re planning to stay in Egypt for a while or for good, you must know the prices of utilities.
Don’t worry, it’s cheaper than you can imagine because Egypt is blessed by the Nile river that supplies Egypt with fresh water all the year long and the Egyptian high dam that generates electricity.

Here are the rates of fair consumption rates of water and electricity:
1 Ton of water costs 0.7 Egyptian Pounds = 0.03 US Dollars
1 Kilowatt of electricity costs 0.58 Egyptian Pounds = 0.025 US Dollars
